Beautiful Friday morning for a ride!
Rick lead and Rex was tailgunner. I was sandwiched between 2 Ventures. The GSA wanted to run, but Rick kept a great pace and the ride was super!
We saw a lot of areas with nice wildflowers. The Bluebonnets in particular were quite nice.
We stopped in Anderson to get a picture of the awesome old courthouse and we stumbled upon this site.
The Confederate Memorial Plaza in Anderson.
Pat Hagemeister, a photographer from Bend Oregon, took our picture in front of the Grimes County Courthouse in Anderson.

We stopped by the campground Friday evening.
The Chapter 1 folks are serving pancakes and sausage for Saturday morning breakfast.
The Lone Star Riders group of 5 bikes is heading out on the 108 mile loop that includes 3 checkpoints on the Poker Run. As always they put together an awesome route.
I ran as tailgunner so I could film and video the group.

Greg and John after fueling up in Fayetteville. (Don't ask!)
Checkpoint #3 in Frelsburg.
Checkpoint #4 in Industry with Mike and Tina Smith.
I had a choice of a 10 or an Ace at Checkpoint #4 and chose the 10. I should have taken the Ace as I got both 10s in Checkpoint #5. I did not defend my title of 2012.
